Containerization with Docker

This talk will cover the basics of what containerization in Linux means, and how Docker allows us to leverage containerization. We will discuss the use cases where containerization makes sense and will also cover some of the implications of using Docker in a cluster using tools such as Docker Swarm and Kubernetes, and the potential benefits of doing so and would also cover some of the wider implications of containerization going forward.

Infrastructure as code

This talk will give you an introduction on what is 'infra as code', how it enables teams to manage and collaborate on large scale infrastructures along with increasing the productivity. Providing the advantages of VCS and etc. We will learn the nuances of Infrastructure as code - for example what is a pheonix environment, immutable servers and etc. and also figure out how packer, config management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef, Cloud platforms, CI tools like Jenkin's, Go.CD are improvised to automate your environments at the click of a button.
